Book of Abstracts:
You can find all abstracts in the complete book of abstracts!

the final programme is now online
Conference Venue: maps are now available for the city centre and the venue
Sunday Hike:
for all of you who are already in Aachen on Sunday, July 26, we have organised a hike of about 9km (about 2,5 hours) through the woods and meadows around Aachen and past the tri-country border. The hike will start at 2pm at Elisenbrunnen in the city centre. Participation is free, bus tickets and drinks / food are not included. If you'd like to join, please write us an email for more information!
If you are around on the Sunday but are not into hiking, you might want to visit the "Altstadtflohmarkt", which is a big fleamarket throughout the historic centre of Aachen. There will be no organised tours - just walk through the city centre and you can't miss it!

Last-minute information - as the ISFC in Aachen is coming nearer, here is some last-minute information to help you with your preparations:
Presentations should not exceed a length of 20 minutes. All rooms for parallel sessions are equipped with identical computers that run on Windows 7 and feature Microsoft Office 2010 as well as a PDF reader. There will be no possibility to plug in your own computer, so please ensure that you bring your presentation on a USB-stick in a compatible format.
There are currently railway works on the train line between Cologne and Aachen. If you fly to Düsseldorf Airport, you can avoid this bit entirely by taking a train via Mönchengladbach. Should you fly to Cologne or have to change trains in Cologne, please take the regular train and alight in Düren. From there on, there will be buses that take you to Aachen (the German word is “Schienenersatzverkehr”, which literally means railway substitution traffic and is abbreviated SEV). Düren main station is not very big, so just follow the signs inside the train station!

Reminder: Please remember that your registration process is only complete once we have received your payment. Both registration and payment will only be possible up to two weeks prior to the event (July 12). Authors that have not registered by then cannot be included in the programme.

: The early bird period ends on May 31. Please remember that your registration is only complete once we have received payment. The early bird fee will no longer be available in the payment system after May 31, so if you have registered but not yet paid, we cannot guarantee the early bird rate after that date.
Room sharing: due to popular demand we have created a platform for everyone who is looking for a roommate for the time of the institute or the conference
